It’s been so long since I have written a blog! Or, it feels that way at least! I have a few blogs in the oven….just need to find time to write them! We have been really busy the last week or so, and going to be even busier for the next couple weeks with my mom coming to visit and then our big trip!

Last weekend was the peak of the changing leaves down here in the foothills. Unfortunately, we spent almost the entire weekend running errands and in a mall! By now they have turned brown and are raining out of the trees.

I did manage to go into Spotsylvania Courthouse Battlefield this week and snap a few shots. It was a cloudy drizzly day, but the colors were still nice, and 3 inches of leaves on the ground were irresistible!
