Christmas market season is almost here, and my calendar is back for 2026! During our six years in Germany, I visited more than 100 Christmas markets. I loved discovering what made each one different, the unique foods and crafts of each region, and the mugs. Yes I was in it for the mugs! The tiny village markets were often just as memorable as the famous ones, so I hope you use this calendar to stray from the beaten path and find something unique!
Last year, I added Christmas markets in the United States after our move home. This year’s calendar continues to include Europe and the U.S. and a few new ones in our Northern neighbor Canada!
