(Throwback of a Blog I forgot to Write)

Another trip that somehow got skipped. In 2008, Jeremy was away for nearly a year with trainings, and I had separated from the military plus moved to our next duty station in Phoenix. I was living with some cousins with the dogs and had nothing to do for a few months. So I packed up the dogs and drove from Phoenix to Washington State! My mom was living in the Bellingham area, so I went up to spend some time with her. She took me around to all her favorite spots… Deception Pass, Birch Bay (just a few miles from the Canadian Border), Port Townsend. It was just after I finished all the Twilight Books so of course I had to go to Forks! We also went to First Beach and did the short hike to Second Beach. I fell in love with the wildness of it all! The driftwood littered beaches, the moss covered trees, the dense dark forest that glows green when the sun hits it…it is one of the most beautiful places I have visited. You won’t need to twist my arm to go back!
