Our little town of Spotsylvania has the best Farmer’s Market! It’s open every Saturday, and we try to make it a point to get out there and get some fresh fruit and vegetables!
The apples are soooo good! They are fresh from the trees, and we always get a few!
Everything is always so pretty! It’s hard not to just buy everything!

It’s not just fruits and vegetables either! They have eggs, fresh local honey, homemade jams and fruit butters, fresh pork, breads, flowers, and a local bakery comes out and offers some of their fresh pastries, cookies, sweet breads, and breakfast items…like Spanakopita!

I always see foods that I have never seen before. Like Yellow cauliflower, heirloom tomatoes, strange looking beans, and whatever this green gourd thing is?
