If you follow me regularly, you may have noticed some changes going on, included the change to the title of my blog. I was having a crisis of identity! I created this blog just after the last Olympics ended….which is where the title came from. I love the Olympics! Every 2 years I fantasize about what sport I would be in if I was an Olympian….random would be my sport. Ha ha! My blog wasn’t about anything….just a way to write more without clogging up my Facebook, and a way for my family and friends to keep up with me. But my blog has changed…I am going a different direction with it and therefore, needed a different name. A good blog name should say something about what the blog is about, or who it’s about. “If being random were a sport…” didn’t tell you anything…and it was a mouthful! Nobody could remember it! So I needed shorter… “Snooze Button…”. I thought this was a fun name, but then I had morning-after mourning! It still didn’t say anything about what could be found in my blog!

I have had a handful of other “great names” but I have refrained from changing the name each time to make sure it would stick—and none of them did. I have been mulling over the word “sundry” for a while. I really like that word, and when I think of what my blog entails, I think recipes and “miscellaneous stuff.” So I looked up words that mean “food” and found tuck! Tuck is British slang and it means food, or in some dictionaries– cakes and candy or ‘to eat’ when used as ‘tuck in’. I thought Tuck and Sundry went together well, and it was catchy and easy to remember! So Tuck and Sundry it is!

I’m pretty crazy about it. 🙂
