It’s been a couple of months since I have written a music blog. I’ve been slacking! Actually, I’ve just been really busy. That’s what happens when you graduate from school, plan a party, plan a trip, plan a garage sale, sit my licensure exam, put a house on the market, and look for a new house. But, I need to ge this going before my most recent downloads are old news! (and some of them might be already!) I haven’t been as up on my music in recent months, but I do have 10 fantastic songs for your listening pleasure! 🙂

1. Falling Slowly- Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova: I love the melody of this song. I reminds me of another song that I can’t place. Or, maybe it reminds me of itself. lol

2. Come Along- Vicci Martinez and CeeLo Green: I loved this song from the first time I heard it! Love the tune of it, and the bit of blusyness.

3. Jack Johnson- Imagine: Of course I love the original of this song, but I love Jack Johnson singing it too. He has such a smooth creamy voice…like caramel!

4. Poison & Wine- The Civil Wars: Another pretty tune. I love The Civil Wars and how their voices meld together. I love the sentiment behind the song too: .:I don’t have a choice but I still choose you:.
             

5. Mirrors- Justin Timberlake: So I was never a huge fan of JT, but his new album is pretty awesome. I think its different than what he’s done in the past. This song is catchy and I just love it every time I hear it!

6. Wagon Wheel- Darius Rucker: I heard this the first time as Duck Commander posted the premier of the video on their Facebook stream because they are in it. At first, I was not too impressed, but now every time I hear it I catch myself singing along and can see the Robertson family singing right along with me!

7. Mama’s Broken Heart- Miranda Lambert: I love this song! Typical Miranda; girly, gritty, and full of sass! Right up my alley!

8. Downtown- Lady Antebellum: I love Lady A, but I swear she sounds just like Miranda in this song! It’s a fun catchy song.

9. Next to Me- Emeli Sande: Every time I hear this song I think it is Beyonce! Very catchy tune…its fun to sing and dance to!

10. Just Give Me a Reason- Pink with fun.: I heard this song for the fist time a few days ago and was hooked instantly! Their voices are so good together! And I love the sentiment behind the song!
