Since most every blog I follow is featuring fall mantle ideas, I decided to post my own fall mantle! I’m not a decorator by any means, but I like pretty things! And I love when pretty things come together to make bigger pretties! 😀

Photobomb! Can you spot the pug?

I noticed this year that I don’t have much for Fall, as far as decorating items go. My husband would say I could keep it that way, but what kind a wife would I be if I didn’t decorate his world! Right ladies?! Ha ha! So…I went out one day and hit up about 6 stores. I purchased nearly all of this on discount or clearance, and a some of it is from around my house. Like the leaf garland…used to be above my kitchen cabinets in the AZ house. The oil lamp and lanterns are from my collection—and the plant is still growing!!

I think it turned out pretty! And my new iphone filter (included in the iOS 7 update) gives all the photos a nice glow! Hope you enjoy! And can’t wait to see/hear about all of your mantle creations! 🙂

The pumpkin and gourds are real and purchased at Meadow Farms,  which is a local nursery/garden center that has the best quality plants! I purchased some giant mums there to at a great price!

I just love these metal owl candle holders I picked up on clearance at the Plow and Hearth Outlet. $5 each? I’ll take 2! 🙂

I found this corn husk wreath at a store called And That!…it’s like a Christmas Tree Shops, just under a different name (it’s an East Coast thing I guess).

I purchased this wheat bunch at Home Goods. I bought 3 of them actually, and they are real wheat! Smell so good!

This lantern was purchased after it went on clearance in Big Lots in early summer. I just love it! The glass is convex…so interesting!
